• Has completed 2-3 years of competency-based education at a Government of Ontario recognized Institution.

• Has completed a minimum of 150 clinical hours prior to graduation.

• Is examined, registered, and monitored by the CMTO in accordance with the Regulatory Health Professions Act & Massage Therapy Act.

• Must participate in the Quality Assurance Program set by the CMTO to ensure high professional standards and quality client-centered care.

• Can be identified by the certificate of registration and the registration number which allows their services to be covered under most extended health-care benefit packages.
